Tuesday Walk-In Blood Clinic

Our Tuesday walk-in blood clinic runs from 9:00am to 12:30pm. (Booking in 8:45am - 12:15pm)  - Radwinter Road Practice only
 
  • Please note that due to high demand, there may be occasions where we need to stop accepting further patients once safe capacity has been reached.
  • On these occasions, we will aim to clearly inform patients that waiting times may be longer or that we may need to close the clinic earlier than the advertised time.

Important Information

  • This clinic is for patients aged 18 and over only.
  • Please be aware that waiting times may be up to 1 hour.

  • If you have a history of difficult blood tests, such as:

    • Difficult veins
    • Previous failed blood test attempts
    • Fainting or feeling unwell during blood tests
    • Requiring multiple attempts to obtain a sample

    please book a blood test appointment rather than attending the walk-in clinic. This will allow sufficient time to support you and help ensure your blood test is completed safely and comfortably.

  • If you have experienced vomiting and/or diarrhoea within the last 48 hours, please do not attend the walk-in blood test clinic.

    To help protect other patients and our staff from the spread of infection, we ask that you wait until you have been free from symptoms for at least 48 hours before attending for your blood test.

     

 

Hospital blood tests

If you are attending for hospital-requested blood tests:

  • You must bring all required paperwork with you.
  • Please note that we are unable to carry out certain hospital requests at the practice.
